Palelialia alpanensis

Taxonomy
Hercoglossa alpanensis was named by Rouchadze (1938). Its type specimen is GIN AN Gruz SSR 6/6, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Alpana, Caucasus, which is in an Aptian marine horizon in Georgia.

It was recombined as Palelialia alpanensis by Shimansky (1975).
