Leptella sarytumensis

Taxonomy
Leptella sarytumensis was named by Nikitina et al. (2006). Its type specimen is USNM 485133, a valve (dorsal valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 133. 4 kilometers southwest of Alakul Lake, which is in an Abereiddian open shallow subtidal limestone/siltstone in the Alakul Formation of Kazakhstan.
