Taxonomy
Deltoidonautilus vredenburgi was named by Halder (2012). Its type specimen is PG/TND 13, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lakhmirani, Kutch, which is in a Ypresian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal marl in the Naredi Formation of India.
