Rugaria semicircularis

Taxonomy
Rugaria semicircularis was named by Afanasjeva et al. (2015). Its type specimen is NU-B 1827, a valve (ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NS1, Imahorazawa, Sakarigawa River, which is in a Sakmarian marine sandstone in the Sakamotozawa Formation of Japan.
