Taxonomy
Ulrichaster was named by Spencer (1950) [Sepkoski's age data: O m S Ldov]. It is not extant. Its type is Urasterella ulrichi.
It was synonymized subjectively with Urasterella by Dean Shackleton (2005).
It was assigned to Uractinida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Urasterellidae by Owen (1965), Spencer and Wright (1966), Jell and Theron (1999), Blake and Rozhnov (2007), Blake (2018) and Blake and Koniecki (2020).
It was synonymized subjectively with Urasterella by Dean Shackleton (2005).
It was assigned to Uractinida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Urasterellidae by Owen (1965), Spencer and Wright (1966), Jell and Theron (1999), Blake and Rozhnov (2007), Blake (2018) and Blake and Koniecki (2020).
