Pentamerus asiaticus

Taxonomy
Pentamerus asiaticus was named by Cocks (1979). Its type specimen is BB 93388, a shell (conjoined valves), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 2.5 km northeast of the town of Rabat-e Qarabil, which is in an Aeronian carbonate limestone in the Qarabil Formation of Iran.
