Taxonomy
Axinea conradi was named by Whitfield (1885). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was replaced with Glycymeris larvula by Hanna (1924); it was synonymized subjectively with Glycymeris grewingki by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Glycymeris conradi by Dall (1909) and Palmer and Brann (1965).
