Taxonomy
Gunnarites flexuosus was named by Spath (1953). Its type specimen is BMNH C.41395, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 4705, Humps Islet, which is in a Campanian marine siliciclastic in Antarctica.
