Taxonomy
Gunnarites paucinodatus was named by Spath (1953). Its type specimen is BMNH C.41353, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is D.421.1, Lachman Crags South, which is in a Campanian marine siliciclastic in Antarctica.
