Aturia kerniana
Taxonomy
Aturia kerniana was named by Anderson and Hanna (1925). Its type specimen is CAS 881, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS 711, Grapevine Canyon, which is in a Lutetian marine sandstone in the Tejon Formation of California.
