Kummelonautilus kamuy
Taxonomy
Kummeloceras kamuy was named by Matsumoto and Muramoto (1983). Its type specimen is MC.Hbo-2015, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pisshiri-zawa, branch of Deto-futamata, which is in a Santonian marine siliciclastic in Japan.
It was recombined as Kummelonautilus kamuy by Matsumoto (1984).
