Nautilus (Cymatoceras) pseudonegama was named by Spengler (1910). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Between Nambikurchi and Utatur, Phosphatscichten, which is in an Albian carbonate limestone in India.
It was recombined as Cymatoceras pseudonegama by Kummel (1956) and Shimansky (1975).
