Taxonomy
Valhallites kashirtzevi was named by Shimanskiy (1967). Its type specimen is PIN 1626/9, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Batyntay River, Verkhoyan, which is in a Pennsylvanian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
