Taxonomy
Valhallites sakhaensis was named by Shimanskiy (1967). Its type specimen is PIN 1626/81, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sobopol River basin, which is in a Bashkirian/Moscovian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
