Taxonomy
Coelonautilus okensis was named by Tzwetaev (1898). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Oka River, Serpukhov area, which is in a Serpukhovian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Lophoceras okense by Shimanskiy (1967).
