Lambertella was named by Mercier (1935) [Sepkoski's age data: J Bath]. It is not extant. Its type is Lambertella valetti.
It was assigned to Astropectinidae by Mercier (1935); to Astropectininae by Spencer and Wright (1966); and to Paxillosida by Sepkoski (2002).
