Physematites charis

Taxonomy
Physematites charis was named by Ruzhentsev and Bogoslovskaya (1978). Its type specimen is PIN 455/37612, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sholak-Say Canyon, Sample 4, Southern Urals, Aktyubin Region, which is in a Chokierian offshore shelf carbonate in Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Physematites.
