Taxonomy
Kjaerina hartae was named by Jin et al. (1995) [= Rafinesquina sp. ( cf. R. deltoidea Conrad) Troedsson 1928 p. 90, pl. 22, figs. 9a, 9b. = Rafinesquina lata Whiteaves (in part), 1896, p. 392 (no illustrations). = Rafinesquina lata Whiteaves Whiteaves (in part), 1897, p. 172, P1. 19, fig. 3 (non figs. 2, 2a, 4, 5).]. Its type specimen is GSC 109077, a shell (slightly damaged, articulated shell), and it is a 3D body fossil.
