Taxonomy
Holtedahlina paraprostrata was named by Jin and Zhan (2001). Its type specimen is MMMN I-2543b and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MMMN 1-2543. Wright Site, west bank of Red River, ~300m south of Parkes Creek, which is in a Richmondian carbonate mudstone in the Red River Formation of Canada.
