Taxonomy
Epidomatoceras aemulum was named by Shimanskiy (1967). Its type specimen is PIN 1193/122, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Beleuty River (Lower Namurian), which is in a Serpukhovian marine horizon in Kazakhstan.
