Knightoceras subcariniferum
Taxonomy
Nautilus subcariniferus was named by Tzwetaev (1888). Its type specimen is TsGM 20/351, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Devyatovo, Desna River, Podmoskovye, which is in a Podolskian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Knightoceras subcariniferum by Shimanskiy (1967).
