Taxonomy
Phaedrysmocheilus involutus was named by Sobolev (1989). Its type specimen is IGiG 759/54, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ebitiem River, subrobustus zone, Kharaulakh Mountains, which is in a Spathian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
