Taxonomy
Proclydonautilus kiparisovae was named by Popov (1939). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 32/5925, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chinyak River, Kolyma Basin, which is in a Tuvalian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
