Taxonomy
Eonatator coellensis was named by Páramo-Fonseca (2013). Its type specimen is RC090805 (IGM p881237), a skeleton (Near complete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coello, which is in a Campanian marine sandstone in the Nivel de Lutitas y Arenas Formation of Colombia.
