J. Colmenar et al. 2014Strongly dorsibiconvex shells with transversely suboval outline. Ventral muscle field large, gently impressed; diductor scars flabellate, widely divergent anteriorly, more elongated than wide and ranging from 54 to 82 per cent as long as valve length and 36 to 95 per cent as wide as maximum valve width; marked development of both adjustor and diductor scars.
