Taxonomy
Tafilaltia brevimusculosa was named by Villas (1995). Its type specimen is MPZ 11553 a, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is N-420 Road Section. Corral de Calatrava. 280 meters, which is in a Bohdalec shoreface sandstone/shale in the Bancos Mixtos Formation of Spain.
