R. J. Carpenter and G. J. Jordan 1997 (Proteaciphyllum microphyllum)Leaf small, narrow, toothed. Cuticle quite thick, epidermis composed of small, rounded isodiametric cells. Abaxial surface smooth. Outer cuticular ledges prominent, but on the same plane as general cuticular surface, subsidiary cells very narrow. Adaxial surface prominently striated, trichome bases occasional, associated with from two to six basal cells.
