Taxonomy
Allozygocrinus was named by Witzke and Strimple (1981) [Sepkoski's age data: S Ldov]. It is not extant. Its type is Allozygocrinus dubuquensis.

It was assigned to Diplobathrida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Dimerocrinitidae by Ausich and Copper (2010).
