Taxonomy
Eoasianites ruzencevi was named by Miller and Furnish (1940). Its type specimen is SUI 2033 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Glaphyrites ruzencevi by Ruzhentsev and Bogoslovskaya (1971) and Leonova (2002).
