Zephyroceras girtyanus

Taxonomy
Richardsonites girtyanus was named by Ruzhentsev and Bogoslovskaya (1971). Its type specimen is PIN 455/36437, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sholak-Say Canyon, Sample 3, Southern Urals, Aktyubin Region, which is in an Arnsbergian offshore shelf carbonate in Kazakhstan.

It was recombined as Zephyroceras girtyanus by Titus (2000).
