Diamenocrinus was named by Oehlert (1892) [Sepkoski's age data: D Sieg D Emsi]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Rhodocrinitidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); and to Diplobathrida by Sepkoski (2002).
