Telopea strahanensis

Taxonomy
Telopea strahanensis was named by Jordan (1995). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is RPU 551, a leaf, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Regatta Point Early/Middle Pleistocene, which is in a Pleistocene/Pleistocene fluvial gravel in Australia. It is the type species of Telopora, Telopea.

ridges. Anticlinal walls of epidermal cells of stomatiferous surface slightly
sinuous. Inner surface of cuticle of non-stomatiferous surface with irregular
rugulae on anticlinal and periclinal walls of epidermal cells.
