Percival 1979Piano-convex to concavoconvex, multicostellate or parvicostellate plectambonitaceans; dental plates short to obsolete; ventral muscle field small, bilobed to cordate; ventral median ridge present or absent; cardinal process a single ridge or series of ridges, supported on arched plate overhanging deeply excavated alveolus; dorsal muscle field bisected by median septum generally extending to elevated undercut rim surrounding wide platform. Pseudodeltidium very small or lacking.
