Taxonomy
Triproetus bonbon was named by Fortey and Heward (2015). Its type specimen is NHMUKPI It 29103, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is WKJ, Wadi Khawr al Jaramah, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in Oman.
