Taxonomy
Dimorphoceras thalassoides was named by Delepine (1937).

It was recombined as Delepinoceras thalassoides by Ruzhentsev and Bogoslovskaya (1971); it was recombined as Delepinoceras thalassoide by Titus (2000).
