Taxonomy
Eoasianites (Zephyroceras) asturicus was named by Kullmann (1962). It is the type species of Eoasianites (Zephyroceras).

It was recombined as Zephyroceras asturicum by Ruzhentsev and Bogoslovskaya (1971).
