Taxonomy
Nucula obtusa was named by Sowerby (1836). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sterboholy (= ┼átěrboholy), Prague, which is in a Zahorany transition zone/lower shoreface limestone/limestone in the Zahorany Formation of the Czech Republic.
