Taxonomy
Craterocrinus was named by Goldring (1923) [Sepkoski's age data: D Eife. Not homonym Craterocrinus Mirinov & Sorokina 1998 (now replaced by Cratecrinus Mirinov 2011)]. It is not extant. Its type is Craterocrinus ruedemanni.

It was assigned to Dolatocrinidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); and to Monobathrida by Sepkoski (2002).
