Cytidocrinus was named by Kirk (1944) [Sepkoski's age data: C Vise-l Sepkoski's reference number: 956]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Eumorphocrininae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); and to Monobathrida by Sepkoski (2002).
