Taxonomy
Corymbites restructus was named by Wickham (1916). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant, Station 14, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
It was recombined as Ludius restructus by Wickham (1920); it was recombined as Ctenicera restructa by Kundrata et al. (2021).
