Eucladocrinus was named by Meek (1872) [Sepkoski's age data: C Tour-u C Vise-l Sepkoski's reference number: 986]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Platycrinitidae by Ubaghs et al. (1978); and to Monobathrida by Sepkoski (2002).
