Taxonomy
Corethrium pertinax was named by Westwood (1854). It is an impression. Its type locality is Swanage/Purbeck (DORCM/BMNH) [C. Willcox Collection], which is in a Berriasian fluvial-lacustrine limestone in the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Limonia pertinax by Evenhuis (1994).
