Sciophila hyatti

Taxonomy
Sciophila hyattii was named by Scudder (1890). Its type specimen is Lee 99, a wing (wing & fragments of leg), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Green River (Lee Collection), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite/shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.

It was corrected as Sciophila hyatti by Evenhuis (1994) and Oliveira and Amorim (2021).
