Taxonomy
Eutrephoceras dartevellei was named by Miller (1951). Its type specimen is MuseƩ du Congo Belge 3796, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bed 31, Landana, Kabinda, which is in a Lutetian open shallow subtidal packstone in the Landana Formation of Angola.
