Sibyllonautilus pertumidus
Taxonomy
Nautilus pertumidus was named by Arthaber (1896). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tiefengraben (Arthaber section), which is in a Pelsonian/Illyrian carbonate limestone in the Gutenstein Formation of Austria.
It was recombined as Tumidonautilus pertumidus by Diener (1915); it was recombined as Sibyllonautilus pertumidus by Kummel (1953), Parnes (1986) and Vörös (2001).
