Idgiaites jurassicus
Taxonomy
Idgiaites jurassicus was named by Liu et al. (2015). Its type specimen is CNU-COL-NN2010238, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2010 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Idgiaites.
