Taramelliceras lochense

Taxonomy
Ammonites lochensis was named by Oppel (1863) [Locus typicus : Lochen near Balingen (Württemberg, Germany)]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is BSPG AS VIII 175, a shell.

It was recombined as Taramelliceras (Proscaphites) lochense by Schlegelmilch (1994); it was recombined as Taramelliceras lochense by Schairer and Schlampp (2003); it was recombined as Ammonites lochense by Quéreilhac (2009).
