Taxonomy
Argonauta tokunagai was named by Yokoyama (1913). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yaegaki Temple, south of Chausuyama, Agenoukimura, which is in a Serravallian offshore sandstone in the Fujina Formation of Japan.
