Caleidocrinus was named by Jahn (1893) [Sepkoski's age data: O Llvi-u O Cara-m]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Disparida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Iocrinidae by Ausich (1998) and Botting (2003).
