Soris labiosus
Taxonomy
Soris labiosus was named by Schram (1979). Its type specimen is UM 5548 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is MV 7106, Supercrop Quarry, Bear Gulch, which is in an Arnsbergian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Heath Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Soris.
